National Human Rights Commission of Nepal - NHRC, Nepal and UNFPA Nepal jointly organized a training program on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) in Dhangadhi from March 25 to 27, 2081. Employees of the National Human Rights Commission, officials of various ministries of the Sudurpaschim Province government, officers of security agencies, officer-level employees of other government bodies and media persons were present on the occasion. The program concluded with a five-point Dhangadhi commitment to make maternal and reproductive health services safe, quality, accessible and accessible and address gender-based violence (GBV) in order to respect, protect and fulfill women's right to safe motherhood and reproductive health guaranteed by the Constitution of Nepal. |
